One Happy Days Poster: 15 plus films sold out

Many times we see some new heroes and heroines as very promising. Their debut films give them overnight recognition and limelight. But to keep up the recognition which they got very easily isn’t that easy. They had to keep on giving back to back successes, to keep oneself falling down the ladder. Their first film success can help them only for a couple movies later.

Varun Sandesh is definitely an exception to the above said formula. Shekhar Kammula really gave him a dream debut with ‘Happy Days’. And next came ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ which cashed on the popularity Varun gained with his debut flick. And that’s it. Till date he had more than fifteen releases after the above said two films. But all of them were box-office duds. The latest film ‘Ee Varsham Sakshigaa’ released this Friday hasn’t any different fate either.

In a recent TV chat show, Varun’s friend hero Nani quipped on Varun continuously doing films inspite of back to back super flops. Nani said, “Every weekend one screening of ‘Happy Days’ is enough for Varun which is still getting him film offers inspite of flops.” That is what ‘Happy Days’ poster value did for Varun Sandesh. Hope he makes some intelligent choices and improves himself as a performer to come out of the jinx.
