‘Padi Padi’ Another Film Hit Sunil

Sunil has got no respite with ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu‘. It was his fourth movie in his second innings and all the movies failed to bring back the old Sunil we all liked because of his innocent punches. He is getting stroke after stroke with poorly written characters that didn’t remind us of the Sunil who entertained us, big time.

He has a brief role in ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ and at the end of the film, no one would even remember his role after they come out of the theaters. The same scenario was seen in his recently released ‘Operation 2019’ featuring Srikanth in the lead. Not one worked for Sunil in his second innings.

The filmmakers are no longer writing an author-backed hilarious role for Sunil. Maybe, partially because he faded away as a comedian when he started doing films as the hero of his films. A fresh batch of comedians had taken his place and the new talent like Rahul Ramakrishna, Priyadarshi etc. are entertaining the audiences with their fresh style. Filmmakers are also writing roles for them that would be with the audiences when they leave the theaters.
