Pancholi faces Relief from the Court

The recent tragic death of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan due to hanging herself in her Juhu apartment had led to many controversies. The suicide note found along with her seemed to incriminate Aditya Pancholi’s son Suraj, her boyfriend, as the cause of her death and he had been under police custody for a while. However, Suraj has now been granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000. Additionally, the court has given him directions to give up his passport and show up before the Juhu police every other day.

The biggest relief however is the statement given by the court which said that the letter discovered on Jiah’s house cannot be taken as a suicide note considering the fact that it is either addressed to anybody nor is it dated. Justice Sadhna Jadhav said that therefore it cannot be surely said that that the emotions expressed in the letter ever reached the applicant.
