The original worked so well primarily due to the mass entertainment. It was a high voltage intense ride from start to end. The trailer of Pandem Kodi 2 does well is reminding the past and maintains the same intensity in the current version. The female villain turn also makes one recollect of another Vishal film Pogaru. Maybe Pandem Kodi 2 is also a sequel to that movie as well.
