‘Pataas’ is an RTC driver son’s dream

Anil Ravipudi’s persistence might have earned him ‘Pataas’ to make his debut as a film maker in TFI but his parent’s deadline to try for three years in the industry and if not successful, take up another job away from films also had been a driving factor for him to make ‘Pataas’ happen for him. His father is an RTC driver.

And this film is like a gift to Anil’s father who is going to retire soon still unable to believe that an RTC driver’s son can be a director in Telugu Film Industry. Anil Ravipudi is a techie who dreamed about films and always wanted to join the industry. His parents wanted Anil to complete his studies first and then pursue his dream like any other parents. He worked as co-director and slowly started writing for films.

Since then he worked for many big and small films. Finally he narrated ‘Pataas’ to Kalyan Ram and had to wait for three years for his directorial venture to go on to the sets as Kalyan Ram was busy with other projects then.
