If rumour mills are to be believed then Pawan Kalyan has shelved the sequel to Gabbar Singh and is planning to produce as well as direct a sequel to his underrated film ‘Johnny’, which never clicked at the box-office. The buzz is that Pawan wants to direct the film in two weeks and is also planning to bring on board his former wife Renu Desai.
Apparently, Pawan has planned to shelve Gabbar Singh 2 because the project didn’t take off as planned by him. It got delayed by nearly 10 months and that annoyed Kalyan who was waiting patiently. Therefore, he revived his long pending idea to direct as well as produce ‘Johnny 2’. Pawan wants to make this film for the critics, who have been labelled him as a commercial actor who never steps out of his comfort zone.
We have to wait if this project will be officially announced anytime soon. If yes, then when will it go on floors? Before ‘Oh My God’ remake or after he finished this film. For now let’s treat this as a rumor and wait and watch.
