It is very rare that fans of star hero plead and pray for another ‘star’ to be seen opposite their favourite. It is happening with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan as he is gearing up to star in a blockbuster remake.
One might have guessed it by now. We are talking about the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The presence of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has been officially confirmed. It is the casting of his opponent in that movie that is drawing a lot of attention.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum offers equal scope for both star heroes to shine. It is therefore imperative that the makers cast a popular face who can act, and also stand up against Pawan Kalyan. Rana was initially speculated to play that part, but the lack of announcement so far has led to many speculations. The names of Manchu Manoj, Nithiin, and Ram are doing the rounds. Anyone who has seen the original can make out that they would be not suitable.
Under these frustrating circumstances, the name of Sudeep has come as a mighty relief. Previously, when the Kannada star met Pawan Kalyan casually, it generated a considerable buzz. Many thought that it was for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. But, it went under the radar as the movie itself had not been made official then.
Now that different names are thrown around who look out of sorts for the part, the fans of Pawan Kalyan are pleading the makers to get Sudeep on board. We have to see who gets selected ultimately, but Sudeep is definitely a fantastic choice.
