Pawan will supervise Gabbar Singh 2 script

Director Sampath Nandi has confirmed that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will supervise the script of Gabbar Singh 2, which is in the final stages of completion. With the film’s regular shooting scheduled to go on floors from May, Pawan will sit with the director and make minor changes to the script.

Sampath says that Pawan insisted that he make changes to the script as this project is very close to his heart. Both of them will sit and work together for the next few weeks before locking the script. Apparently, Pawan has very little experience in this department as he supervised the script of Gudumba Shankar, which bombed, many years back. Let’s hope the fate doesn’t come this film as well.

Sampath also said that the sequel will not be an extension of Gabbar Singh, and will follow a different story altogether. They are planning to release the film for Dasara.
