Ram Charan is going to arrive on the big screens in exactly a week from now in the form of Peddi. This film is set for release on June 4, and it will have a massive theatrical footprint.
The lucky thing for the Charan film here is that it is dodging the IPL bullet in an absolutely timely manner now.
The IPL is going to conclude on May 31, and it is going to be a mega Cricket celebration across the country. Had Peddi with the coincided with this Cricket event, it would have certainly divide the attention which would have ultimately worked against the Charan film itself.
The good thing is that the IPL fever will be concluded by the end of this weekend. The presence of RCB will obviously dictate a lot of attention and there will be a lot of social media discussion on this topic. There would not be as much vacuum for Peddi to operate.
