Liger has a huge advantage of no competition during its release. Even the currently running successful films like Bimbisara and Sita Ramam will slow down or out of most theaters at the ticket windows by August 25th.
During Liger week, Karthikeya 2 might attract some footfalls because its craze has caught on in the northern belts, but still, it would be no competition to Liger. No big Bollywood film is also releasing on August 25th, so Liger will have a clear ground to score as big as possible.
There won’t be any issues like shortage of theaters allotted or prime time shows not allotted. The film will have a vast release across the country on the maximum number of screens.
Vijay is pretty confident that Liger is a blockbuster, and so is the team. Let’s hope the film roars at the box office.
