Actor Nithiin has finally commenced the shooting his new yet-untitled flick in Dubai. It is the keenly awaited Telugu remake of successful Bollywood movie, Andhadhun.
The shooting in Dubai is happening in a bio-secure atmosphere. The heroine of the movie Nabha Natesh is also part of the shoot. However, the other key actress of the film, Tamannah will join the sets in January only.
Merlapaka Gandhi of Venkatadri Express and Express Raja fame directs the remake in Telugu. His last film Krishnarjuna Yuddham was a failure. He is hoping to bounce back with the Nithiin starrer.
As far as Nithiin is concerned, he will be seen playing a blind guy for the first time. The actor is busy with multiple projects and also making sure the subjects are as different as they get. He will be seen as a prisoner in one of his upcoming films, Check. He has Rang De up for release next.
Take a look at the image below. Ayushman Khurrana essayed the part in the original which fetched him a National Award. The same movie is also getting remade in Malayalam, as well, with Pruthviran playing the lead. There will also be a Tamil version.
The point here is the subject is a winner and hence the many remakes, and keen anticipation everywhere. We have to see which of these remakes stand out and emerge a success.
