PK set the stage right for PK to begin grandly

As the year is going to come to an end, Aamir Khan’s PK came as a huge respite for cine-lovers who have been thirsty for intelligent cinema and a film which could define what good cinema is. PK opened to positive reviews showering praise for both the makers and the actor. Aamir’s PK came as a forerunner for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gopala Gopala’.

Like Aamir’s PK, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gopala Gopala’ is also a subtle satire on god & worship and especially the fake godmen and human belief systems woven around religion. Though Pawan’s movie is a remake of another Hindi movie ‘Oh My God’, the subject is first of its kind for Telugu audience. ‘OMG’ didn’t actually reach the common Telugu audience but PK certainly has more reach because of Aamir’s factor.

Going by the superb talk PK is garnering, the film is going to break many records and especially it would set the stage right for Pawan’s movie. The dialogue on god and godmen is triggered by Aamir’s PK and this would be continued by PK (Pawan Kalyan) in the beginning of the new year. Seems these two movies are giving audiences right way to end a year and begin fresh in the new year with a logical point to ponder upon.
