Well-known Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who was recently seen in the film ‘Zanjeer’, a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 80s film, might have landed in trouble for wearing the police uniform in a wrong or disrespectful way in the film. According to sources, the petition was filed against Chopra by a police constable in Maharashtra in a local court. The petition says that the popular actress disrespected the state Police logo and the national flag by wearing the uniform in a bad way. The petitioner’s name is said to be Sanjeev Patole and he found Priyanka Chopra’s attire in the song ‘Mumbai ke Hero’ offensive.
Apparently the petition has already been accepted by the district and sessions court and five members from the film crew including the actress (Chopra) and the film’s producer Puneet Mehra have been summoned.
