
The final political film before the Andhra Pradesh elections commence, Prathinidhi 2 is gearing up for its release soon. The film is set for theatrical debut on the 25th of this month.
However, there is a last-minute hurdle for the Nara Rohit starrer as it is facing censor hurdles right before the release.

Incidentally, the makers had filed for censor certification 20 days prior, considering the fact that this is a political film and there could be the need for extended scrutiny.
But despite the cautious move by the makers, the censor board still hasn’t even watched the film, let alone certifying it, say reports.

In this context, doubts are being raised as if there are any political motivations behind the extreme delay in censorship which should ideally not take this long.
Scrutinizing a film and calling for changes in the final cut is one thing, but not even watching the film, with just 2 days to go before the release is a worrisome tactic by the censor department.
