Ever since the first look and stills of Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda have been released, people have been under the assumption that it is the remake of successful Hindi film Golmaal 3 directed by Rohit Shetty. Even the plot line revealed long ago by one of the cast of the film also pointed towards it. However Mohan Babu has finally clarified that the film is not a remake of Golmaal 3.
In an interview recently the actor who also produces the film said that the film has few scenes which have been taken from Golmaal 3 and hence that impression has been created. But in reality it’s a original film that has few scenes taken from Golmaal 3 and rights to use that scenes have been taken by us, revealed the actor. Earlier when the film was announced there were rumors in the industry that the film was a remake of Welcome, another successful Hindi film but in due course of time those rumors died a natural death.
