Prabhas or Allu Arjun with Aditya Dhar: Hype vs Reality?

Ever since Dhurandhar became a huge success, director Aditya Dhar has become the hottest filmmaker in India. Naturally, social media has been linking him with almost every top star. The latest rumor claims that Prabhas recently met Aditya Dhar in Hyderabad to discuss a new project. However, industry sources say there is no truth to these reports. People close to the development insist that no such meeting has taken place and that the speculation appears to be nothing more than another social media rumor.

The biggest reason is simple. Prabhas does not have the time. He is currently busy with Fauzi and Spirit. After that, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 and Salaar 2 are expected to take over his schedule. His calendar is packed for the next few years, leaving almost no room for another big project till 2029 at least.

The same applies to Allu Arjun, who was also recently linked with Aditya Dhar. But Allu Arjun is fully occupied with Raaka, followed by AA23 with Lokesh Kanagaraj, while Pushpa 3 is also expected sometime after that.

Aditya Dhar, meanwhile, is also not waiting for either star. After the massive success of Dhurandhar, he is focusing on developing his next film. According to industry buzz, discussions are progressing with Ranveer Singh, and that project could go on floors around 2027 once both the script and schedules are finalized. Aditya Dhar has always preferred finishing one project completely before moving on to the next.

Reports also suggest that one team is currently working on the script of his next magnum opus while another is handling production and financing. Another interesting update is that Ashwatthama may not be his immediate next film after all, with Chandragupta Maurya now appearing more likely to move ahead first.

Of course, a Prabhas-Aditya Dhar collaboration would be a dream combination. After Dhurandhar, Aditya Dhar has proved he can handle large-scale action spectacles, while Prabhas remains one of India’s biggest pan-India stars. The combination certainly has tremendous potential.

But based on the current commitments of both Prabhas and Aditya Dhar, it does not look possible anytime soon. For now, these reports appear to be more like PR-driven speculation than genuine industry developments. Until either Prabhas or Aditya Dhar officially confirms a collaboration, fans would be better off treating these rumors with caution.
