Prabhas Limiting Himself With Sequels?

Baahubali started the trend of making a film in two parts. It started the trend of ending the first part on a cliffhanger and creating extreme hype for the second part. Pushpa is now following the same formula. And according to the latest reports, many Tollywood biggies are going to follow the same trend.

It is being speculated that Prabhas‘ Salaar and ProjectK, Pawan Kalyan’s OG, and Hari Hara Veera Mallu all will be made in two parts.

If the rumors are true, then it feels like Prabhas has limited himself by doing these two-part films. If ProjectK and Salaar turn out to be such kind of movies, then Prabhas will have to spend another five years on these films.

Prabhas gave five years of the prime period of his career to Baahubali. And now, another five years will be spent on Salaar and ProjectK. That means Prabhas will be seen in only three characters in a decade. Yes, there were Radhe Shyam and Saaho, but they were forgettable characters.

So people on social media are saying that Prabhas is limiting himself by doing these two-part movies. It is also a risk to dedicate so much time to one film, as every director isn’t a SS Rajamouli.
