Prabhas’s 2024 starrer Kalki has already set several records since its release in India earlier this year. As the film opened its doors in Japan recently, the main lead Prabhas was nowhere to be seen during the premiere.
The renowned superstar was scheduled to be a part of the premiere but canceled it out at the last moment due to an injury. Sharing this update on social media, Prabhas appreciated the love his film has been getting internationally.
He further stated how he missed coming to Japan despite being so excited and anticipating it. Due to a sprain in the ankle during filming, the actor was unable to attend the premiere and apologized for that in his post.
After bolstering the Indian box office, Kalki 2898 AD is set to entertain Japanese audiences. The film has been praised worldwide for its visuals and compelling plot getting highly positive reviews from the audiences.
As for Prabhas, he is a busy man with several projects lined up for the superstar including Fauji, Salaar 2, and his highly anticipated Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
His fans worldwide would surely be looking forward to his upcoming titles as Prabhas aims to make 2025 a better year for him after his recent mediocre films.
