After the massive success of Animal, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has shifted his full focus to Spirit starring Prabhas. Ever since the project was announced, expectations have been sky-high. The first audio teaser received a solid response.

The shoot is currently happening in Hyderabad, reportedly near Kokapet. During the filming, an unexpected video leaked online showing Prabhas and Sandeep in conversation. In the clip, Prabhas is seen wearing a police uniform.

Normally, leaks like this become a headache for big budget teams, especially when the shoot is at such an early stage. Fans assumed the production team would maintain high security, given the hype around the film. Surprisingly, reports suggest that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is not bothered at all. He reportedly feels the leak is good publicity and will only push the film’s hype further. There are also rumors that the leaked video might even be AI generated.

Industry circles say leaks usually hurt the secrecy of a big project. They also say that Sandeep’s films have always thrived on discussions, noise, and controversy, so this may actually benefit the film instead of causing damage.

Spirit is an intense action drama with Prabhas in the lead and Triptii Dimri as the heroine. The supporting cast includes Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj. There are also strong rumors that Ma Dong Seok, also known as Don Lee, may join the film. As of now, the makers are targeting a 2027 release.
