There’s growing confusion around Prabhas’ film The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Initially, the makers said the film would release in December last year. Then they shifted it to April this year. Now, the film has been postponed again.
Some rumors say it might come out during Dussehra or Diwali. Some people speculate that December is the best date, as two of the biggest blockbusters like Animal (2023) and Pushpa 2 (2024) released in December.
Others say even December may not be possible, and that 2026 Sankranti is also being considered. Prabhas has not had a Sankranti release for many years now. His last Sankranti release was Yogi in 2006 20 years ago which was a flop.
As Dragon seems to be postponed from that date, The Raja Saab might take that lucrative season, capitalize on it, and witness Prabhas’ stardom on a festival like Sankranti.
