Prabhas is a name known all too well around the world for his films. But unfortunately, this name seems to be attached to one more thing — delayed film releases.
Fans of the actor were in for a disappointment as speculations started pouring in that Raja Saab, his upcoming film slated for release in April 2025, may now be postponed to May.
But this news is not something new for Prabhas’ fans, as they are all too familiar with such postponements since 2013.
This trend began with ‘Mirchi’, which was postponed back in 2013. ‘Baahubali’ followed, with its own release date getting postponed 2 to 3 times.
Due to a lack of better visual effects, ‘Saaho’ had to face a similar postponement as it was delayed from 2018 to 2019.
‘Adipurush’ is a much more recent example, with its date getting delayed from Sankranti 2023 to June 2024, owing to massive backlash regarding its VFX.
Projects like Radhe Shyam, Kalki 2898 AD, and Salaar fell prey to it as well, their dates running forward many times.
These postponements have created frustration on social media, with users coming forward to voice their thoughts.
One user said, “Each & Every film of #Prabhas gets postponed at least 2-3 times. We have been witnessing this for the past 5 years!!!”
Despite these trendsetting delays, fans of the actor are as hopeful as ever that Prabhas will deliver on his trademark larger-than-life cinema experience that he is known for.
