Prabhas’s secret surgery

This news might come as a shocker for many fans of actor Prabhas, who secretly underwent a shoulder surgery recently. The news about the same was not revealed in advance because he didn’t want to create a hullabaloo around it. However, filmmaker Rajamouli had cleared the air after Prabhas was spotted with a sling at a marriage. Here’s what Rajamouli had to say about the same on his Facebook page.

Prabhas underwent a minor shoulder surgery a month ago. Very successfully managed to keep it a secret (to avoid unnecessary speculation) till now but this marriage couldn’t be avoided. The surgery was long due and we planned it in the summer so the unit too can escape the summer heat. He is absolutely fine now and will be back in action in a month.

According to sources, it was during the shooting of Baahubali and filming an important stunt sequence, Prabhas hurt his injury. While the injury was minor, he didn’t realize that internally it had been severally damaged.
