Following his successful transition from director to actor, Pradeep Ranganathan is now taking on a new avatar as a producer with a female centric film starring Mamitha Baiju in the lead role.
According to reports, this female centric film is directed by a debutant who is said to have worked as one of Pradeep Ranganathan’s assistant directors on Comali and Love Today. With Mamitha Baiju playing the lead, director Ashwath Marimuthu is turning into an actor in this film and playing the role of a cop in his debut acting film.
Furthermore, there is information that the shooting for this film has already started in Chennai and an official announcement regarding this project is expected soon.
This speculation has surprised the entire Kollywood industry because many people did not expect this transition to producer from Pradeep Ranganathan. Consequently, some people on social media are commenting that Pradeep Ranganathan is doing this only to support his former assistant director and also because this film launches his close friend Ashwath Marimuthu as an actor. Also, they predict that this might be Pradeep Ranganathan’s first and final film as a producer.
