After the failure of Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), Pradeep Ranganathan has not yet officially announced his next project. Consequently, social media has been flooded with speculations regarding his next film.
A few weeks ago, some sources suggested that Pradeep Ranganathan’s next film is going to be a bilingual project directed by a Telugu director. However, there have not been any updates on this collaboration as of now.
Then, recently, AGS Entertainment’s Archana Kalpathi hinted that Pradeep Ranganathan is making a comeback as a director soon. Consequently, many people started believing that Pradeep Ranganathan’s next film is going to be his ambitious film under his own direction.
In this scenario, fresh speculation suggests that Pradeep Ranganathan’s next project will be produced by the pan-Indian director Atlee and that one of Atlee’s assistant directors is going to helm the project. Furthermore, there is information that the project is almost confirmed and an official announcement is expected soon.
This speculation has disappointed Pradeep Ranganathan’s fans who were eagerly awaiting his next directorial venture. Since Pradeep Ranganathan’s success streak came to an end with the failure of his last film, LIK, they suggest that he should make a wise decision and collaborate with a promising director rather than a debutant, just because he is an assistant director of Atlee.
Additionally, they point to the failures of the films such as Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae and Baby John, produced by Atlee, claiming that Atlee as a producer has not delivered any hits so far. Therefore, they feel Pradeep Ranganathan should not collaborate with Atlee for his next film and should instead return as a director.
However, there are still no official updates on this collaboration and it remains to be seen whether Pradeep Ranganathan will collaborate with Atlee for his next film and if he does, how this project will take shape in the future.
