Pressure Worked On Karthikeya 2, Again

The last time Karthikeya 2 was heading for release, it got postponed due to external factors. The film was supposed to release on the 22nd of July and it then had to delay the release plan by a month to accommodate Thank You which released on the 22nd of July.

The makers of the Nikhil starrer then announced that the film is releasing on the 12th of August. Sadly for them, they had to postpone the release again for the second time in as many months.

But this time around, the delay is rather a minimal one. Karthikeya 2’s release has been pushed from 12th August to 13th August.

This is a move to avert the clash with Nithiin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam, which had locked 12th August as the release date much before Karthikeya 2. As it appears, Karthikeya 2 was pressurized into altering the release date again.

But this isn’t the worst thing to happen for the film either. Avoiding a clash with Macherla might help both films get better openings instead of clashing, which isn’t advisable in this dry slump.
