In Bollywood, top heroines doing item numbers is no big news. Nevertheless in Tollywood, top heroines used to consider item numbers as below their stature. But the scenario is changing. Even while they are reigning in top positions, heroines are boldly accepting item numbers and setting the screens literally on fire.

But even before all the above said heroines thought of doing any item number, Priyamani sizzled in an item number with Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan in ‘Chennai Express’. She rocked the dance floors with the dance number ‘One two three four, get on the dance floor’. Many liked Priyamani in that number and no one knew Pawan was one of them who liked her in the item. News afresh, the buzz is that Pawan wants the makers to rope in Priyamani for a dance number in the multi-starrer ‘Gopala Gopala’. If the buzz is true, then one can say that Priyamani is receiving rich dividends for the bold step she has taken to do an item number. Lucky indeed!
