A couple of months ago, Anil Sunkara went through a nightmarish period of stress when ‘Agent’ was released. He faced immense pressure as the director Surender Reddy failed to deliver the final copy even a day before the release. Despite Anil Sunkara’s efforts to hype the film, alongside Akhil, it brought him major embarrassment starting from the first U.S. premiere talk.
Now, with his co-produced film Samajavaragamana, although not a big-budget production, he has found some relief.
It’s a strange coincidence that Samajavaragamana was released against Nikhil’s ‘Spy,’ a spy thriller similar to Anil Sunkara’s disaster ‘Agent.’ The web reviews and talk of ‘Spy’ and ‘Agent’ are more or less the same.
Will Samajavaragamana continue to bring him joy all the way to the box-office and become a blockbuster? We will have to wait for it.
