Producer Cheats Director by Giving Govt. Lands!

Cheating and frauds in movie business is pretty common across all the industries. We come across pretty regularly about such cases in Telugu cinema through various modes. One of them is confession by the people involved. Here is one such update by director Ravi Babu who was cheated by a producer.

The director who makes films in a very unique way says that he works on all his movies passionately and expects the same from everyone. Telling about one of the saddening experiences he revealed that producer of the film Laddu Babu, didn’t pay him remuneration. Instead a day before release he gave Ravi Babu papers of land that turned out to be governments. Even the cheques bounced. This was one of the worse incidents that occurred to him professionally.

On the same film he also added that it was released without any plan in the worst time possible which is before elections. He feels that the film was killed. While we sympathize with the cheating issue, the director is surely cheating himself if he thinks Laddu Babu was a good film.
