Production Designer Avinash Kolla speaks about his working experience of Peddi. How they built 24 sets with impeccable planning and recreation of 1980’s timeline of vizianagaram.
He explains how an art director can turn into a production designer and why they wanted to upgrade themselves to it.
He says team peddi are more confident on Ram Charan’s performance than anything from the film. Also the character trait of Ram charan from tribal background will be street smart and will be damn fresh on screen.
He also mentions about how they worked pretty hard for Game Changer “Jaragandi” song set, which was visible from the airplane while flying for many months.
Avinash also adds how srilanka helps Telugu Films for the terrain, as its almost same as india.
Avinash is very confident about Peddi success and said that audience wont be able to figure out which is set and which is original location.
