Official results showed the Progressive Panel gaining control of the Chamber. Elections were held for four sector councils and Executive Committee members. The Mana Panel and Progressive Panel contested, with the latter enjoying strong backing from major producers.
Leading producers like Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and Suresh Babu supported the Progressive Panel. The Mana Panel received backing from C. Kalyan, Prasanna Kumar, and Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao. These alignments shaped the final Telugu Film Chamber Elections outcome.
Out of 44 Executive Committee seats, the Progressive Panel won 28, while the Mana Panel secured 15. One seat ended in a tie. This majority ensures key posts like President, Vice President, and Secretary will go to the Progressive Panel.
Sector-wise results highlighted the Progressive Panel’s dominance. In the exhibitors sector, it won 14 seats, leaving only two for the Mana Panel. The distribution sector also favoured the Progressive Panel, which won eight of 12 seats.
The Mana Panel showed relatively better performance in the producers and studio sectors. It won seven producer seats and three studio seats. Even so, the Progressive Panel holds overall control after the Telugu Film Chamber Elections.
With numbers firmly in its favour, the Progressive Panel is set to lead the Chamber. The new executive body will now handle major industry decisions. Many within the film trade are watching how this leadership shapes Telugu cinema ahead.
