Protests on Gopala Gopala even before release

The controversy on PK, seems to be rubbing off on Gopala Gopala as well. To those who are unaware, PK deals with God-men and blind religious faiths of people on them.

Religious outfits and fringe elements have taken offense to the content shown in the film and have started vandalizing theatres as part of protests. So where does Gopala Gopala come into all of these. Well, as many know, it is a remake of Oh My God, a Bollywood film which dealt with similar issues as PK but in a more direct and attacking way.

A group of men today staged dharna outside censor board office in Hyderabad protesting on the film Gopala Gopala even before the release of the film knowing the content of the film. Is this a beginning of more such situations happening in future? What do you think?
