Punjabi Actor Attacked in U.S. Gym

In what could probably be a hate crime, Punjabi actor Aman Dhaliwal was critically injured in a knife attack in the US. The assault took place when the ‘Ek Kudi Punjab Di’ star was working out at a gym. Incidentally, the incident was captured on CCTV, a video of which has surfaced on the internet.

In fact, an image of the actor Aman Dhaliwal showing him with bandages following the attack is now out. The video shows the attacker in a blue hoodie clutching the arm of the actor, the tomahawk in one hand.

Even as the actor cried out for water, the attacker yelled and stopped him, and the actor remained calm. As the actor tries to divert attention, he tried to tackle the man and pin him down on the ground.

The incident took place at Planet Fitness, which is a chain of gyms in California’s Grand Oaks. He has worked in TV shows and some Hollywood movies. But his claim to fame was playing Rajkumar Ratan Singh in the Bollywood blockbuster Jodha Akbar.
