The anticipation swirling around ‘Pushpa 2’ is reaching unprecedented heights, igniting a global frenzy among fans. The relentless updates from the makers are like fuel to this wildfire of excitement.
The fervor for the film’s rights is simply staggering.
Such demand is not confined to just one arena; overseas and digital rights are also commanding astronomical figures, with Netflix sealing the deal for over a staggering 100 crores. T-Series has swiftly moved to secure the global music and Hindi satellite rights for a hefty 60 crores.
However, what truly piques the interest is the film’s potential performance in the Hindi belts. The minimum target for the film’s lifetime collection in Hindi is 500 crores.
Along with that, speculations are rife about its opening day collections, especially when compared to the track record of other South movies in Hindi dubbed versions.
‘KGF Chapter 2,’ leads the pack with a mammoth 52.39 crores, followed closely by the behemoth ‘Baahubali 2,’ boasting 40.73 crores and holding the record for highest footfalls. Prabhas’ Adipurush collected 31.73 crores, Saaho 25.82 crores, and 2.0 19.74 crores.
‘Pushpa 2’ is poised to enter this elite league and potentially dethrone ‘KGF Chapter 2’ as the highest opener in South movies in Hindi dubbed versions.
Trade reports are abuzz with the revelation that ‘Singham Again,’ initially slated to clash with ‘Pushpa 2,’ has wisely chosen to postpone its release to Diwali, paving the way for ‘Pushpa 2’ to dominate the box office unchallenged.
