Queen Kangana fails as Rani

Kangana Ranaut spring a massive surprise earlier in the year with the film Queen. The film opened poorly but with tremendous word of mouth it picked up big time and finally emerged as the first hit film of the year.

With such a film behind her when her new film Revolver Rani released this Friday many expected the film to open better and do well commercially. However Revolver Rani has surprised the trade and once again took very poor opening like the actresses previous film proving the trade more than anything that films like Queen are aberrations now and then. Such performances of female oriented films are not regularity and it needs extremely strong scripts for female oriented films to work. Thus within a short span of few weeks Kangana who scored massively as Queen has failed big time as Rani.
