Eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma is presently mulling over making a silent film like film makers did in the bygone era. Those days it was the only option. But now making a silent film in this talkie era is an experiment. RGV is going to make it multilingual and says the crime comedy concept suits the silent genre the best. No wonder, 30 years ago director Singeetham Srinivas weaved magic with ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ starring Kamal Haasan.
But now, RGV is going through lean phase in his carrer with back to back flops repeatedly. Isn’t Raj Tarun taking a huge risk with this popular director by taking up an experimental genre like a silent film when the film maker is presently not in firm since long? Not that silent films don’t work, but can RGV make it worth the risk for Raj Tarun?
