RRR, which is being promoted as India’s biggest action drama is up for release on the 25th of this month. Now, the makers have dropped an update on the film’s whirlwind promotional campaign.

Starting from tomorrow, 18 March, team RRR will be touring select major cities across India, and also visit the Dubai Expo 2022. Through the course of the promotional tour, RRR unit will visit Hyderabad, Delhi, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Baroda, and other cities.

Cut to now, a few Telugu netizens are finding fault with RRR’s promotional tour and they are calling out the makers for not holding a single event in Andhra Pradesh.

“RRR is a Telugu film and Andhra Pradesh is one of the major contributors for the film’s theatrical revenues. Then how can the unit ignore AP in their promotional tour? Are you belittle AP? AP ante antha cheap aipoyindaa” an anguished netizen commented.

Team RRR could be of the opinion that holding an event in AP would invite uncontrollable crowds, given that fans will flock the arena to watch NTR and Ram Charan on the same stage. That might be one of the reasons why they have opted not to hold an event in the state.
