Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have delivered many memorable films together, and fans were eager to see them team up again for the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic. But the project has now been shelved because the script didn’t meet their creative expectations.
Both Aamir and Hirani are known for chasing perfection. They didn’t feel the story connected with today’s audience. Aamir even asked for a fresh version with stronger plots and subplots before finally stepping away.
Now, Aamir is exploring other projects, while Hirani has also moved on to new ideas after pausing work on the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic.
Interestingly,SS Rajamouli once planned to make the same biopic with Jr NTR. Their version was dropped when Aamir and Hirani started working on the same subject.
With Aamir and Hirani now out, you might soon see SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR bringing their Dadasaheb Phalke dream back to life.
