2016 Filmfare awards commenced last night and it was truly the year of Deepika Padukone and the film Bajirao Mastani walked away with most awards. He truly deserves the credit for providing the sensible story for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the judges seemed to have taken a note of it.

Below, take a look at top winners of the Filmfare Awards 2016;

Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) – Deepika Padukone for Piku
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) – Ranveer Singh for Bajirao Mastani
Best Film – Bajirao Mastani
Best Director – Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Bajirao Mastani
