Rajini fans shout “Thalaiva valge”

Rajinikanth might be insanely popular in India but during the actor’s shooting visit in Malaysia, he proved that his fame is not limited to India. The actor was recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia shooting for the upcoming PA Ranjith directed movie ‘Kabali’.

The well-known actor was filming at Menara UOA, Bangsar where huge crowds of his fans gathered from all walks of life just to get a peek of the legendary star and the tower roared with the frenzied cheers of “Kabali” and “Thalaiva valge”, which means hail the chief.

The actor was in the country for his 159th film’s shooting and turns out ‘Kabali’ is the first movie the actor is working nights for. Rajinikanth filmed a few scenes until 4 am in the morning in Chennai, breaking his usual working pattern. The film will also feature Radhika Apte and Dhansikaa in the leading roles.
