Superstar’s Kannada Confirmed, Telugu in Ambiguity

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Tamil movie ‘Petta’ is slated to come to the theatres on 10th January as Pongal release. The Kannada dubbed version of the movie will also be coming on the same days. Infact, the Kannada version of ‘Petta’ is like the first of its kind in Sandalwood that had been very stringent on dubbed movies, till recently.

Now, that the gates are open, more and more films are going to be dubbed into Kannada while Kannada movies are also getting dubbed into multiple languages. In Telugu, the scenario is different. Rajinikanth has a good market in the Telugu States. His recent films didn’t live up to the expectations and added to this, there are other straight biggies that will be coming for this Sankranthi.

Among the straight movies, Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama‘ will be enjoying undivided attention because of the combination and of course, being the biggest film in Sankranthi race in 2019. So, the makers of ‘Petta’ haven’t confirmed a release date for the Telugu version and there is a big ambiguity with regard to the dubbed Telugu ‘Petta’. Let’s wait and see what the makers would decide with regard to this.
