For instance, the Tamil Nadu unit of BJP is pretty insistent that Rajinikanth will speak out in favour of their prime ministerial candidate ahead of the elections. As the national executive member of BJP, L Ganesan told a Tamil Weekly, he has apparently been in communication with Rajinikanth over the phone and has also met some four months ago.
