Superstar Rajinikanth had been invited to inaugurate the 44th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2013 which is scheduled for the next month here. But to the disappointment of lots of people, the organisers have announced that Rajini may not be able to make an appearance at the event owing to his ongoing health issues.
Vishnu Wagh, who is the vice-chairman of Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), stated that even though they have given Rajinikanth the invitation to inaugurate the festival on November 20, they are very uncertain about his presence since he is reportedly moving for a medical treatment. But we are not sure about his participation as he is reportedly leaving for a medical treatment,” Wagh continued saying that the date of the event is very liable to coincide with the date of Superstar’s appearance, so there is a big chance that he might not make it to the show.
