The Superstar’s wife faced a backlash when the Supreme Court of India didn’t buy the submissions made by Media One owned by Latha Rajinikanth and directed her to personally pay the dues amounting to Rs. 6.20 crores to the above-mentioned company. Latha owns several businesses and producing films is one of them.
Media One had taken the investment of Rs. 10 crores from the ad agency for the sake of the post-production work of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, the film which was directed by the Superstar’s daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth with motion-capture technology. The Court’s verdict has gained importance in the wake of the political plunge of the Superstar.
