Rajnikanth & Amma personal infringing by Faisal Saif

These days film maker Faisal Saif is in news for his upcoming films ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’ and ‘Amma. While ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’ (MHR) is said to be a comedy tribute to the superstar, ‘Amma’ is based on the life of film actress turned politician, AIADMK chief Jayalalitha. MHR landed itself in controversy when the superstar himself chose to approach the Madras High Court to file a petition against the release of the Hindi film alleging that his name is being misused and the makers of the movie didn’t seek his permission before using his name.

Now the same director is getting ready to release ‘Amma’ and in the troubled times when Jayalaitha is convicted and sent to jail. The film is creating huge buzz and the distributors are thronging to the producers for the rights. But the Amma’s fans are carefully watching the buzz and trying to find out if the director has got any anything controversial about their Puratchi Thalaiva. Faisal Saif is presently taking care to shoot the climax in the wake of the present turn of events in ‘Amma’s life and refrain from inventing wrath of Jaya’s supporters.
