Rakul Preet Front Runner for Blockbuster Sequel?

Vikram’s 2003 blockbuster ‘Saamy‘ (Lakshmi Narasimha in Telugu starring Balakrishna) gave the star hero an image in the Tamil Film Industry and a sequel to that film is in the offing now. After 14 years, producer Shibu Thameens came forward to solidly work on the sequel.

Trisha who played his heroine in the prequel is going to come back on board for the sequel as well to romance Vikram. Also, there is scope for one more heroine in the film like Suriya’s ‘Singham’ franchise. According to the buzz, Rakul Preet Singh might be that heroine.

But, there is one more name in the line. She is Catherina Tresa. Both are considered for the glamor role in the movie. Director Hari who is basking in the success of ‘Singham 3’ is going to helm this project for Vikram. He was the director for the prequel as well.
