Ram Charan’s Biggest Regret: Even Fans Will Agree

Recently, Ram Charan appeared on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s talk show, “Unstoppable with NBK”, and admitted that he regrets doing the Bollywood remake of “Zanjeer”, which was originally played by Amitabh Bachchan.

Charan made his Hindi debut in 2013 with this film, and it received immense criticism, making it one of the worst films of his career.

Critics described his performance as “wooden,” suggesting he lacked the necessary emotional depth for the character, which ultimately earned him a “bad actor” award and a reputation for having minimal expressions.

Although the movie boasted a powerful cast, which included Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sanjay Dutt, it could not connect with the audience and was also surpassed by its original version.

Charan’s honest confession about this is also a general feeling of the audience who believe that this role was not suitable for him as an actor.

In the future, Ram Charan will be seen in “Game Changer”. In this movie, he plays the role of an IAS officer who fights corruption. This will be his role in which he will be shown as a different actor, mainly after the huge appreciation he got for his performance in “RRR”.

He is now gearing up for the next chapter. And, of course, “Zanjeer” reminds him of the problems faced to achieve success in cinema.
