Again And Again, All The Burden On Ram Charan!

Gone are the days when Telugu heroes were able to pull the audience to theatres in big numbers all by their own. The star culture is slowly avoiding as content is taking the top position. Now it is equally the responsibility of the director to set the stage for a film.

But in the case of Ram Charan, it really needs to be said that he is finding himself in positions where he is having to do all the heavy lifting himself.

Earlier, in the case of Game Changer, it was Ram Charan who had to pull up the film from all ends as director Shankar delayed the film greatly and created a crux situation in the end. Poor promotional material and excessive delays costed it deeply.

Now, in the case of Peddi, Charan is not finding himself in any better position either. The film got postponed multiple times and the promotional stunt has also been inconsistent. There hasn’t been enough effort to marinate the film for June 4 release.

Young film maker Buchi Babu will have to share the load with Charan now by dropping fitting material at the earliest so that the hype catapults as the film is releasing in under a month. He can’t entirely bank on Charan’s fame and market pull to sell the film.

It is ironic that Charan is one of the few heroes who is finding himself in these crunch moments time after time. Perhaps better decisions regarding directorial choices and execution is the cure for this, commented an angry mega fan.
