Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who shot to fame with Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, became one of the most sought-after filmmakers in Indian cinema. His latest blockbuster Animal shattered major box office records and cemented his place among India’s top commercial directors.
Now, Sandeep is preparing for his next project, Spirit, starring Prabhas. Even before filming begins, the movie has created nationwide buzz. But interestingly, fans are now more focused on what the director plans to do next.
According to strong industry reports, Sandeep’s next film after Spirit could feature Ram Charan in the lead. Though there is no official confirmation yet, insiders say Charan was deeply impressed with the story narrated by Sandeep and has given a verbal nod to collaborate. If this pairing materialises, it could be one of the most exciting combinations Indian cinema has seen in years.
Fueling speculation, both Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ram Charan recently followed each other on Instagram. Fans quickly noticed and turned it into a viral moment, seeing it as a strong hint of an upcoming collaboration. Social media was soon filled with posts, screenshots, and fan edits celebrating the possible union.
This is not the first time such rumours have surfaced. A few months ago, reports suggested that Sandeep was planning a film with Ram Charan post-Spirit. Their latest social media interaction has reignited those discussions and amplified fan excitement.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan is busy shooting for Peddi under Buchi Babu Sana’s direction. The film is nearly 60 percent complete and set to release on March 27, 2026. Its first single, Chikiri Chikiri, is already a viral hit. After Peddi, Charan is expected to reunite with Sukumar for another project.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, on the other hand, has a tight schedule ahead. After Spirit with Prabhas, he plans to move to Animal Park, the sequel to Animal, before starting pre-production on the Ram Charan project. There are also ongoing talks about a potential collaboration with Allu Arjun, though that project remains uncertain.
Given both their busy timelines, the Ram Charan–Sandeep Reddy Vanga film may take two to three years to go on floors. Still, fans are thrilled. For them, even a small digital gesture has become a massive celebration — proving once again that in today’s social-media era, one follow can trigger nationwide excitement.
