There is some interesting buzz around Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman. According to the latest reports doing the rounds on social media, Ram Pothineni is said to have come on board the film to play an antagonist role against Superstar Rajinikanth.
If the Buzz comes true then this could be an interesting casting move. Rather than going with a familiar Tamil face, bringing in a well-known Telugu hero like Ram will help Dharman create more curiosity across Telugu-speaking audiences as well.
The film is currently progressing with its second schedule in Chennai. While Ram’s casting is yet to be officially announced, the possibility of seeing him in a grey-shaded role opposite Rajinikanth has certainly created some buzz.
For Ram, this would also be a completely different space from his usual lead-hero roles. If the character has enough scope and strong confrontational episodes with Rajinikanth, it could turn out to be an interesting addition to the film.
However, for now, Ram’s involvement remains unconfirmed officially, and fans will have to wait for the makers to make an announcement.
