Rane happy to go shirtless

Harshavardhan Rane, who recently started shooting for National award-winning filmmaker Neelakanta for Maaya, will be going shirtless for the first time in his career. He said even though he finds the whole experience new but he’s more than happy to flaunt his body. He, however, clarifies that he does not have any six-packs for the film. He added that for one particular scene he will shed his shirt.

The actor, who is awaiting the release of Prema Ishq Kadhal, is excited that he is getting to portray different roles in his career. While he played a hapless husband to a woman who fear ghosts in Avunu, he will soon be seen in an important role in Nayanthara’s Anamikaa, Telugu remake of Kahaani. IN PIK, he is playing a rockstar and will also be seen in a new avatar in Maaya as well. Rane believes that only versatility will help an actor sustain in this competitive industry.

Rana, who recently signed a three-films deal with director Madhura Sreedhar, said that he has also signed the Telugu remake of a recent Bollywood blockbuster but he wouldn’t reveal the name. But i’m guessing it may be the remake of Vicky Donor because filmmaker Sridhar has its remake rights.
